NCP National Consumer Panel

People keep posting about "friends" who get to try out new phone and all this stuff so i emailed ncp to find out what i was missing. This is the reply i got:

Dear Potential Panelist,

At this time the National Consumer Panel does not test products for clients.

National Consumer Panel membership is always voluntary and completely free. We’ll provide you with a hand-held scanner and any associated materials.Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the UPC barcodes on your purchases. Then, once a week, using your scanner, you’ll transmit this information to us for free.

As a panelist, you’ll be eligible to receive great gifts and be entered into our many sweepstakes.

This process of scanning and transmitting your purchases requires a total weekly commitment of about one to two hours. Keep in mind that the amount of time you spend may vary depending on the size of your household and your purchasing habits.

Sincerely,

Lynne Morrison

National Director

National Consumer Panel

Needless to say, either someone is lying or someone is getting lied to. I just hope that it's not ncp that's lying. They haven't done wrong yet. Any opinions???
