My Review:
I didn't know what to think of the konjac sponge when I got it. It's in a small box and hard when you first get it. You do have to put it under water and soak up some water to soften it up. I personally think that it feels nice on the face. Not scratchy at all like you would expect. The only thing I didn't like about it, is that I could not get the facial cleanser out of the sponge. It states that you can use it with or without a cleanser. I have evil combination skin, so I wanted to try it with a cleanser. The sponge did help, but the whole issue with not being able to fully rinse it out of the sponge kind of bothered me. The suction cup and hook that comes with it is pretty awesome You don't have to worry about leaving it on a counter to collect even more germs. I did leave it in a well-ventilated space, however, due to the humidity where I was living at the time (Oklahoma), it would never dry all the way and eventually started to smell a little musty. That is one smell that I cannot stand at all! I used it a couple more times to see if I could get rid of the smell but I couldn't (except when I was using a cleanser that masked the smell). It ended up in the compost before I moved. That is one thing that is great about this sponge. You can put it in the compost. It's nice to see more natural products. This product isn't bad, but it's not for me. It didn't do me much good without cleanser, and when I did use a cleanser, I couldn't get it all rinsed out. If you just want something to naturally cleanse your face without anything extra, this would be perfect for you!
